Co-Op Superstores back on board for National Hunt Raceday at Cork Racecourse Mallow on 17th October, as the racecourse gears up to welcome back racegoers!

Co-Op Superstores, the retail division of Dairygold, is delighted to be back in the saddle for the fourth year to sponsor the National Hunt Raceday at Cork Racecourse, Mallow on Sunday, 17th October with the first race going to post at 1:20pm.

The easing of Covid-19 restrictions means Cork Racecourse can now cater for an increased number of patrons at the Co-Op Superstores Race Day which marks the launch of the exciting national hunt winter season.  Many of Ireland’s leading jockeys and trainers will be participating in this day of top class thoroughbred racing. The day’s feature race will be the coopsuperstores.ie Handicap Steeplechase (Grade B) with a prize fund of €40,000.

Dairygold has supported us for many years and they’re now well associated with this national hunt winter season opener.  As a rural based retailer, many of their customers are regular race goers and we are looking forward to welcoming them all to Cork Racecourse on October 17th.”
